Mixed Media Mojo - October Challenge

It's time for another fun Mixed Media Mojo challenge!  This month we are going with a theme of Halloween / Fall and the twist being to use Fabric on your project.

Here is what I created using a wooden block that measures 3 1/4 x 4 1/4.  A while back I went to Home Depot and had them cute a 2 x 4 into pieces so I still have a bunch of these wood pieces.

Here are some of my steps and supplies:

The very first thing I did with the block was to use white gesso as a primer.

 Unity Stamps

Gloss gel with a stencil

The Gel dries clear

White Muslin Fabric sprayed gathered and stapled with tiny attacher and sprayed with delusions

Stamped with Unity Stamps as well as a pumpkin stamp I carved myself

Mixed Media Card Challenges

This month over at The Mixed Media Card Challenges our challenge is the theme of VINTAGE with an optional element of KEY.  For the life of me I couldn't find my "key" stamp I wanted to use so I didn't have that in my creation.

Here is what I came up with using some Tim Holtz papers which to me are Vintage like:

Here are some of my steps including supplies I used:

New DT announcement and Challenge

I'm psyched to announce that I made The Blue Moon Crafting Station DT!  Monthly challenge are held over on the Challenge Blog and this month's challenge is Halloween / Fall!

Here is my first creation using one of the awesome Digi Digi Doodle images:

I used the sentiment called Boo Bag Poem and Images, solid card stocks are from Stampin Up, the pattern papers are from Me & My Big Ideas and the ribbon is a basic one from Michael's.  I love the cool "grunge" look so I used a distress tool around all my edges.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope that you all come play along this month!
